Warwick Emanuel PR: Press release

Digital media team grows at Cardiff PR firm

Cardiff-based public relations company Warwick Emanuel has employed film maker Stephen Thomas to help strengthen its capacity and meet the growing production needs of its digital media department.

26-year old Stephen, who is originally from Ammanford, joins the company as a graduate of the documentary and film course at Newport University. His areas of expertise include motion graphics and post production graphic effects.  Stephen joins former journalist, Katie Chappelle who was recently appointed as Warwick Emanuel’s digital media manager.

Stephen said; “This a great opportunity for me, joining Warwick Emanuel’s New Media department at such an exciting time in its development. Online marketing, with vidcasts and podcasts, can prove to be a really cost-effective way to promote products and services during a recession, and I look forward to adding my creative input to work which is already of such high standard.”

The company recently set up the digital media unit to help its clients maximise the benefits of the online environment. Consultancy director, Elizabeth Warwick, said; “The new media platform offers an array of benefits. It’s a creative and cost effective way to reach both small and mass audiences. At WEPR, we produce high quality films to cost effective budgets and this makes our services accessible to both small and large businesses.”

Warwick Emanuel was set up in 2001 by business partners Elizabeth Warwick and Wynford Emanuel. The company now employs ten people and specialises in the energy, utility, public sector and business to business sectors.

It has made a number of corporate films, video annual reports, news podcasts and public advice films – all of which can be viewed at www.wepr.co.uk .
