Welsh public relations consultancy, Warwick Emanuel PR, has secured contracts to manage communications for more than £2 billion of investment in Wales.

The company says that a half relates to large scale energy projects and high technology developments – which indicate that Wales is still an attractive place to invest.

Warwick Emanuel PR is also managing the day to day communications for water, gas and electricity utility investment programmes in Wales and the west of England, as well as an energy link to the Irish Republic.

Director Elizabeth Warwick said, “Our utility and environmental portfolio is growing, with Warwick Emanuel PR handling both corporate and community relations for our clients.

“Several of our clients are international companies and have engaged us because of our long experience in managing communication programmes.

“We are currently working with several companies developing renewable energy projects – including biomass, sustainable bio-oil, energy from waste and wind – as well as biotechnology projects. These represent very substantial inward investments in Wales.”

She added that Warwick Emanuel PR has started a new media business to reach audiences via internet vidcasts and news clips.

Warwick Emanuel was set up in 2001 by business partners Elizabeth Warwick and Wynford Emanuel. The company now employs eleven people and specialises in the energy, utility, public sector and business to business sectors.

Last year it launched a new media business which specialises in making corporate films, video annual reports, news podcasts, news clips and public advice films, all at modest costs.
